About me

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Jodhpur (India). I have joined this position, followed by my postdoc in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, Singapore, where I worked in the Security Lab (KISP Lab) under the supervision of  Prof. Prateek Saxena .  Prior to that, I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science at IIT Bombay, where I had the privilege of working with Prof. Umesh Bellur and Prof. Vinay Rebeiro in the SYstems and NEtworks Research Group (SYNERG) lab.

About my research

My research primarily focuses on Distributed Systems. During my Ph.D., I dedicated my efforts to enhancing the computation capacity and throughput of Blockchain systems while maintaining robust security measures. Currently, I am actively involved in the development of a distributed atomic cross-chain commit mechanism and designing a novel payment channel network to facilitate seamless cross-chain exchanges. Moreover, I have developed a keen interest in exploring an innovative research avenue that revolves around enabling software to exclusively access low-level memory through capability handles rather than conventional raw pointers.
